Hey Mama,
Here’s 22 things that helped me drop and keep off 44 Postpartum pounds.
- Grub on some carrots 🥕. You will chew much and be grateful for your next meal haha.
- Do micro workouts. And I mean miro. Like 3 squats everytime you go urinate. Progress is progress and I will take it any day!
- Fruits! Eat lots of fruit. Not only is it amazing for your breastmilk but it’s the best fast food.
- Mindset is everything. Progress over plateau. It’s better to move forward no matter how slow you go than to quit. Never quit!
- Go to God. A lot of times when women have weight issues it’s cuz they are holding on to the past. Pray about it.
- Stay hydrated. I honestly don’t do much water but I love my clean teas and fruits and veggies.
- Switch your food. If you love an unhealthy item- ask God to show you how to make the healthy version.
- Ditch the toxic sugar. Replace it with raw honey, real stevia- the whole plant is best- those are my top 2.
- Limit meats and keep it clean. Meats take a toll on your kidneys and liver. I prefer plant protein.
- Ditch the dairy. I still have some dairy but if it’s highly processed it’s garbage. Go for the fresh clean dairy. Even at that it’s definitely not a daily thing for me. My husband- thats another story haha.
- Get off gluten. American gluten is trash unless it’s organic or from another country, I don’t recommend it. This really removes the facial puffiness. It takes about 4 weeks for gluten to be removed from the body.
- Do lymphatic facial massages. This will depuff your face.
- Don’t get stuck on the scale. It’s not about a goal weight but more of a goal physique.
- Don’t aim for skinny- aim for healthy.
- Don’t fear loose skin- think about becoming the woman God created you to be as you rebuild and cocreate your body again with God.
- One of my fav easy meals: fruit bowl with a protein shake.
- Snack on healthy fats. I love avocados and nuts.
- Homemade plant based ice cream! This is usually a meal for me and I make it with 3 ingredients and lots of fruit. AMAZING! Everyone loves it!
- Listen to God. Pray specially for God to show you when to stop eating. He so will!
- Go outside. I feel like this is sooooo important for Postpartum mental health and what a great place to get some physical activity!

- Regular, weekly prayer and fasting. I do this as mainly a spiritual upkeep but as you get closer to God- the weight comes off. He heals everything from emotional eating to hormone problems.
