    Infections & Why You Maybe Getting Sick So Often

    Hey Mama,

    I wrote this for my dearly loved one, but I know it will bless you beyond measure & felt lead to share!

    Did you know that according to research, a round of antibiotics can DESTROY 90% of your gut bacteria!!! That’s right, after only ONE round.

    Why It Matters

    According to Birmingham Gastroenterology, about 70-80% of your immune system is in your gut.

    Which means the condition of your digestive system affects your health & immunity – hardcore.

    So if you find yourself with reoccurring infections, it’s not just a coincidence and you don’t just have to put up with it.

    The medical system is focused on creating & keeping sick customers but God wants to set you free.

    I remember when I worked at the emergency department I started to see patterns.

    People were coming in for infections. The SAME people.

    They would get an infection & then more often than not, get prescribed antibiotics then in a few weeks or months be right back with more infections. It seemed crazy.

    At the same time, I remember growing up, I used to be just like them. Frequent visits to the Dr. constantly on antibiotics. Never understood why. It was hell, expensive and time consuming and it sucked. Sicker than most.

    So one day when I was 19 or so, i had been sick months out of that year and nobody seemed to know why. I was on antibiotic after antibiotic & I was SICK of it.

    So I went into this herb shop, so SICK & after taking some items there… in THREE hours the infection that had been struggled with that whole year… GONE.

    I was shocked.

    Almost 20 years later, rarely ever get sick, went on, I believe it was 7 years without getting sick… here’s where I’d start today.

    1. Colloidal Silver. It a natural antibiotic. It’s NEVER to be taken with salt or for more than ten days in a row. I think every home needs this. This is my trusted source. Please do your own research.
    2. Probiotics. Start a good one. I only trust 2 brands right now & would give to my family. These are extremely effective. They also have herbs to target brain health & memory.     Let’s talk diet

    For a strong body that rarely gets ill, what I found worked for me was high fruit and veggies.

    I feel best off of gluten, dairy and sugar. Although I do believe raw diary is healthy. And I go for the healthy sugar like raw honey or real stevia.

    Limited clean animal meats. I love nuts. Avocados. Love salads. Remember food should be fun and pleasurable not feel like boring and bland.

    Just consecrate yourself to God and ask Him to teach you what He wants you to eat. He will show you.

    And definitely stay away from coffee unless you was want to age prematurely, get wrinkled and poison your body slowly, that stuff is garbage.

    Without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6

    Those that are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:8

    I want to share a story of a lesson today.

    My husband was taking our eldest outside and I was helping him get ready, when I felt the Lord want me to do something I’d never done.

    It wasn’t a small still whisper like with the prophet Elijah, sometimes it’s an impression, or a download or it could be a millions ways- however He chooses to speak in that moment.

    It was a knowing this time.

    “Have your son scrape the new soap under his nails before he goes outside”

    Then after there was a bombardment of all these “what will and what if” thoughts aka the warfare.

    “What will my husband say?”

    “Should I do it?”

    I had just a moment to step into destiny or it would have been missed.

    I call our son over and ask him to scratch the new soap that is high in anti-pathogenic properties under his nails & tell him it is going to help him.

    He does one hand. He didn’t really like it. He didn’t want to do the other hand.

    I don’t force him.

    He goes out and tells his dad how he had soap under his nails and felt weird.

    My husband looks at me with this look like … “what are you up to now.” It wasn’t bad or anything.

    And I responded by saying it will help protect him.

    After they come back my husband tells me that our son found something in the ground, he wasn’t sure what it was but later saw that it was a piece of animal poop.

    Me: (in silence thinking “that is so disgusting”) what hand was it?

    My husband: the left hand.

    My son: no it was the right hand… this one…

    It was the hand that the soap was placed under!!!!

    This method is used to protect children and young ones against parasites.

    I had no idea what would happen.

    But God knew!

    Random acts of obedience.

    They don’t make sense. They RARELY do.

    What tremendous pain would have been felt if I had chosen not to listen.

    I praise God that He made me hear Him.

    We won’t know or understand everything- we weren’t meant to.

    That’s God’s job.

    It’s not His will for us to function like that in complete independence.

    It is His will to share things when He wills it. That creates a deep dependence on Him. The constant pursuit of His heart- this must be our ALWAYS #1 priority in life. Him.

    When Bible Stories Come Alive: How God Used Comic Books to Transform Our Family Devotions

    I am SO EXCITED to share this with you!

    I never thought I’d be writing about comic books in relation to spiritual growth.

    But isn’t it just like our creative God to show up in unexpected ways?

    Last week, as I watched my 4-year-old son completely absorbed in Scripture for the first like I’ve never seen him- just completely come alive & want us to read more & more, tears of gratitude streamed down my face after I put him to bed. God birthed a new excitement in our home!

    The Struggle Can Be Real

    Family Bible time can become a battle in many homes.

    But it doesn’t have to be and I am super grateful it’s treasured in our home.

    I really see this Bible changing this generation in a beautiful Holy Spirit inspired way.

    From God-hater to foster care advocate: My unexpected calling

    I remember being a young child, tears streaming down my face as I was longing for some of our childhood best friends.

    They were in and out of foster care. They moved often.

    Maybe you’ve watched helplessly as children you cared about disappeared from your life, moved by systems beyond your control. Maybe you’ve felt that ache of wanting to help but not knowing how.

    We spent years together growing up and my heart deeply loved them but also hurt deeply for them.

    Years later my God-hating self ended up at an herb shop and though I went in for herbs, I came out with the Living God – Jehovah.

    As I read the Bible, I was surprised to see James 1:27 – “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress.”

    This ONE verse changed everything.

    As I drew closer to God over the years & learned about who He really was and not just what religion teaches – God started to break my heart for what breaks His – the 400,000+ precious children in the foster care system who need to know they are seen, known, and deeply loved.

    I had no idea God loved the orphans so much. It was honestly hard for me at the time to believe that God loved children so much after seeing some of the things I did as a child – often questioning where God was.

    Fast forward to nursing school I wanted to adopt a newborn baby. He was my patient and also being weaned off of narcotics. I wept hard because I wanted to adopt him but it wasn’t God’s time.

    Maybe you’ve felt that same stirring. That gentle whisper asking you to step out in faith to make a difference. But then the doubts creep in:

    • “I could never do foster care”
    • “What if I get too attached?”
    • “What if it’s too hard?”
    • “What if I’m not equipped?”
    • “How can I really help?”

    Beloved, I’ve learned that the enemy loves to use fear and misconceptions to keep us from walking in God’s calling. For years, I believed the lies that foster care was too messy, too painful, too complicated.

    But God showed me that His perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fear is NOT of God, not is it normal and should NEVER be tolerated.

    Abba also showed me that I did not need to go adopt in order to make a difference. Sometimes He calls you now, to help how you are able to, where you are at. While at the same time preparing your heart for more at a later timeline.

    The truth is, every child deserves to know they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). To know that they matter and to know the love of God.
