The Unburdening: What Happens When Your Heart Carries Weight You Can't Name

    Hi beauty

There’s a heaviness some of us carry that has nothing to do with our circumstances and everything to do with what’s accumulated in our hearts over time. You wake up going through the motions. You pray, but the words feel like they’re bouncing off the ceiling. You worship, but there’s a distance you can’t quite close. You know God is there, but you can’t feel Him the way you used to—the way you desperately want to.Most people don’t realize that spiritual numbness isn’t a crisis of faith. It’s a symptom of a burdened heart that needs intentional care.

The Weight We Don’t Talk About

We live in a world that celebrates being busy, productive, and constantly moving forward. But here’s what nobody tells you: forward motion without internal healing just means you’re dragging your wounds with you into every new season.

That disappointment from three years ago? Still there. That grief you never fully processed? Sitting on your chest. That unforgiveness you minimized because “it wasn’t that bad”? Creating a barrier between you and the intimacy with God you’re craving.

Your heart wasn’t designed to carry all of that and still have room to hunger and thirst for the living God with the intensity He invites.

The Ancient Practice Modern Believers Forget

Fasting isn’t just about food. It’s about creating space—physical, emotional, and spiritual space—for God to do the internal work we can’t do ourselves.

When you fast with intention, something shifts. The noise quiets. The distractions fade. The things you’ve been carrying to the surface where you can finally release them.

But here’s what I discovered: fasting alone isn’t always enough. Your body needs support during this sacred time. The physical depletion can sometimes work against the spiritual breakthrough you’re seeking.

Supporting Your Body While Feeding Your Spirit

The most powerful fasts happen when your physical body is properly supported so your spiritual focus can intensify. That means giving your body the essential nutrients it needs to sustain energy, mental clarity, and physical strength while you abstain from regular meals.

This isn’t about making fasting “easier”—it’s about making it more effective. When your body isn’t fighting depletion, your spirit is free to pursue God with greater intensity.

Everything we’ve discussed about unburdening your heart and creating space for genuine hunger for God comes together when you approach fasting strategically. I’ve found something that supports believers who want to fast with intention without compromising their physical wellbeing: this comprehensive approach to spiritually-focused fasting.

What makes this approach different is that it’s specifically designed for people who understand that fasting is sacred work—not a diet trend. You’ll find practical support that honors the spiritual discipline while giving your body what it needs to sustain you through the journey.

    The Invitation You’ve Been Feeling

If you’ve felt God calling you to unburden your heart, that whisper isn’t random. He’s inviting you into a season of healing, clearing, and renewal that will change how you experience His presence.

The hunger and thirst for God you’re craving? It’s available. But it requires making space—intentionally, physically, spiritually—for Him to do the work only He can do.

The sooner you respond to that invitation, the sooner you’ll experience the freedom that comes from a heart that’s been unburdened and renewed.

You don’t have to carry everything you’ve been carrying. There’s a better way forward—one that honors both your spiritual hunger and your physical need for support during this sacred journey.

Your heart was meant to be light enough to run after God with abandon. It’s time to remember what that feels like.

    Stay close to God, JC

    God Vision

Imagine this… every-time your child was faced with hardship, pain, a crisis, heartbreak or danger… that moment was COVERED in prayer.

Thats one of the reasons we are praying one hour in the Spirit.

It’s not just a new year thing. It’s a lifetime investment.

So now you are literally shaping their history with YOUR prayers, Mama!

Today’s prayer (I pray over each specific family member, my bloodline, pets and prayer partners)

That we see what God sees- in every situation, every nano second of our lives and that we pay the price to keep our hearts soft enough to hear God ALWAYS… and obey swiftly as He sees fit. In Jesus name. Amen.

My prayers during this hour are longer and detailed but for the sake of time I am only sharing main points.

    I hope this blesses you.

Maybe you never had someone to soak you in prayer during your childhood- now you can be that person.

  • 2026 Prayer & Fasting Invitation

    2026 Prayer & Fasting Invitation

    Hi treasured mama,

I feel it deep that God is calling me to prayer in the Spirit for an hour every day.

Id like to invite you, if you feel His invitation.

He actually had me do this for a few years and it was so good!

Here are some beautiful things I love about praying in the Holy Spirit.

    The fruit was beautiful.

    1. My day goes sooo much smoother
    2. It helps me hear Him better
    3. You will NEVER regret prayer time! EVER.
    4. It helps keep my heart soft to God
    5. I see my family in greater unity
    6. I am so much more alignment with heaven
    7. It’s a protection against the transference of spirits
    8. I feel happier
    9. He gives me answers faster
    10. I am a better wife prayed up
    11. It strengthens me spiritually

During this hour of prayer I plan to dry fast. This adds an extra punch to your prayer but putting your flesh on check.

Just watch your life change as you do this.

With love & praying an open heaven over you for 2026. Stay close to God.

  • Fasting & Prayer Day 1

    Fasting & Prayer Day 1

    Hi beloved,

    Some people ask, why fast?

Well, I think of it like a spiritual cleanse, from all sorts of things for example like trauma, emotional woundedness, grief, or strongholds, other things like you genuinely wanna seek God’s face and increase your intimacy or fasting for loved ones, spiritual breakthrough or something that God is telling you to… there’s so many reasons.

I hadn’t fasted for a while because I was pregnant, and now that I’m not, I find myself running into the Lord with all of my heart, that He would heal me & our family from the recent loss of our son.

    There are other reasons.

You know when you reach that point in your life, some people might call it a turning point, you know something very deep inside of you has changed and you feel as though you’re ready to pay a price for God‘s presence that was not fully there before as He desired.

Because it is costly to constantly be in His presence- but you know what? it is far MORE costly to choose to not being in His presence.

    And far more painful.

When you don’t put God first you start to put other things first, whether it be people, items, food, platforms, social media, ministry … It’s whatever it is to that person. And that’s a very dangerous place to be, because that is the heart of idolatry.

I’ve never felt a grief or more painful thing then this miscarriage and losing my son and it’s my heart that no woman ever experience that.

I am mainly doing a water fast and herbal teas. No sugar no honey.

Everyone had a different place in their walk with God but through this great pain I’ve discovered a true yieldedness and a desire for oneness with the Lord.

this requires a lot of being completely honest with yourself as you look at your heart and you allow Him to plow and to plow and to remove the rocks and the stones and the boulders and remove everything in it that’s not of Him, every ounce and spec of pharaoh …of Babylon, every pain, every woundedness.

And I know that fasting has in the past greatly helped- It’s been a complete lifeline and it is so powerful that I cannot even describe it but it something that must be experienced.

So I am doing a short three day fast.

And if you are fasting as well I pray that the Lord meets you strongly, and that you will always put Him first no matter the cost.

May your new year be a continual feast of His presence.

May your heart be joyful and filled with hope and may you get every ounce of healing that you need.

I love you with all of my heart, JC.

And if you are wondering what herbal tea I’m fasting on here they are. This covers a 3 day fast for me.

Stay close to the Holy Spirit and God bless you.

Also, if you suffered a miscarriage let me share what was told to me: THE FAULT IS NOT YOUR OWN BUT THE ENEMYS. THERE IS NOW THEREFORE NO CONDEMNATION IN CHRIST.
