The Most Important thing as a Mama

    ,

I had just laid him down in his swaddle.

Head over heels in love. He was perfect.

I was getting ready for bed. I laid down and took that breath, you know that first good breath you take after you have poured out your heart that day. A sigh of relief. Ready for rest & relaxation.

Almost immediately I heard the Lord say “his face is covered.”

I was out of bed in a heart beat. I mean, which Mama bear is not, right?

I go to him, and sure enough, somehow his swaddle was undone and the blanket was covering his face.

Suffocation is a real thing. Of course, with the utmost speed possible I take it off his face.

He was safe. God was watching over him.

You see, you could be the best mom in the world and still miss it. So don’t strive to be the best, aim at being the most yielded (to God.)

The serpent was the most cunning. Sneaky. Patient.

But he can NEVER outwit the Holy Spirit.

As much as we watch our children like the eagles, our strength & help comes from the Lord.

The most important thing as mother, it is not your sons and daughters. It’s not your husband. Not your paycheck.

It’s God. God alone is always to be #1.

    Period.

So don’t compromise your relationship with Him for anything.

I am not perfect. I am a very imperfect woman who loves God. A lot of times idols are not the golden calf’s that seem so obvious, they are often the things people don’t even pick up on, except God would show us.

Like the fear of hurting someone. Or not stepping out in faith because of unbelief and doubt. Or maybe sometimes we have made comfort our king…refusing to be uncomfortable.

It wasn’t the first time God saved his life and I am sure it will not be the last.

Our sons and daughters will grown up and learn of God what they see at home. More is caught than taught. Which is why it is SO IMPORTANT, now more than ever to learn how to constantly walk and stay in the presence of the Lord.

Not just when the YouTube worship song is on, not just at Bible study, not just when we have the electronics.

But every “nanosecond,” as my kingly husband says. This will save their lives. It will save your life. And it will be greatly needed for the times ahead.

So call out to God while you can. And seek His face while He may be found. For training them up in the way they should go will only happen once.

Savor the moments. But always keep the Savior at the center.

I am so convinced that apart from Him, I can do absolutely nothing.

Stay in great confidence in the Lord & know that He will ALWAYS warn you, but it’s you job to guard your own heart & keep it soft enough so that you hear Him.

Quick prayer: God I pray that every-time you warn me & speak, that I, my sons & daughters, my husband & bloodline (name whoever you feel led to) would always heed your warnings & obey Your voice, expose every plot against us & cancel it, may we respond accordingly as You will, that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper, and we are kept safe & healthy, always in Your presence, no matter that price or pain, in Jesus name.

As always, stay yielded to God,

    Julianne

    2 Chronicles 30:8 (NKJV)
“yield yourselves to the LORD; and enter His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you.

  • The Messy Home CRISIS: How One Biblical Detail About Jesus’s Resurrection Provides the Surprising Solution

The Messy Home CRISIS: How One Biblical Detail About Jesus’s Resurrection Provides the Surprising Solution

    ,

    Did you know Beloved,

That even Jesus folded his linen clothes after his death and resurrection?

    Before we get into that.

If you ever find yourself in a manner of the heart or state of the mind that is anything less that joyful, after saying the appropriate scripture, take a quick survey of your home and see if there is place where you feel God is telling you to take action and bring order.

Sometimes things can feel off if God is wanting to cleanse a place or it may need order.

A messy home attracts a messy mind.

We have the mind of Christ.

We serve a God of order.

When your home is tidy – you will feel better, your husband and sons and daughters will thrive.

This also sets the example of the type of spouse your sons and daughters will marry.

    It teaches responsibility & accountability.

It helps train them up in the way they should go.

    Super important.

I don’t mean perfection either. Only God is perfect.

So today I was reading John 20:7

“and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.”

God showed me something so cool.

So some people say this really helps to prove Jesus was resurrected because the linen was folded.

Sometimes robbers would break into tombs to steal what they could- and they didn’t care about the linen wrapped around peoples face- to say it would have been thrown for sure if it were a bunch of robbers was common.

Now what I found so cool was… back then, tradition had it that when a slave was serving his master, he knew when to start cleaning up when the master threw in the towel or napkin during meal time. That meant… “I AM finished”

But let’s say the master would go to the restroom but was not done eating… then the master would fold the napkin neatly… that meant… “I AM coming back.”

So here, Jesus knew that. It was common knowledge.

So He folded his napkin saying… “I AM COMING BACK.”

    Quiet the statement!

    Amen & hallelujah!

So… next time you find yourself folding clothes or linen… how easy is it now to remember that Jesus is coming back!

    Beautiful right?

Takes cleaning and being a homemaker to a whole different level…

I personally must always have this cleaning item in my home…

It’s the best nontoxic one I’ve found. Smells so GOOD.

And it’s not like one of those scents that instantly fades.

    It lingers! I’m obsessed.

I used it on almost everything. Stovetop, countertops, doors, walls, the restroom, the floors.

I’m currently using the one called Abundance– I chose that one because I believe we’ve entered into that season.

It’s all prayed over by the Kingdom owner. I love that.

So when I spray it, I’m reminded of the promises of God.

I also highly recommend praying in the Spirit when you clean, even if it’s just for a few moments, I find it really helps.

    You can see it here.

I love how Jesus, being God, He could have done whatever He wanted with that linen. He could have left a trashy mess.

    But He didn’t.

He’s the greatest leader. He set the example & took the time to fold it. It says a lot about His character.

    Until next time friend,

    Julianne

  • Woman of God, Arise like Esther & walk like Abigail.

Woman of God, Arise like Esther & walk like Abigail.

    Abigail, Queen of Israel

Her name means “my Father is joy”

And oh how the Father’s heart delighted in His daughter when she treated His servant, David as the King that God destined him.

A woman of great wealth and wisdom.

“she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance” 1 Sam.25:3

She was not given to the fear of man when she was informed how her husband, Nabal responded to David’s warriors. She stood firm listening to God. In the midst of the noise. She stood.

She has eyes to see what the Spirit of the Lord was doing.

    Because she knew God.

    She walked with Yahweh.

Her husband Nabal, although yoked with her through marriage, had marred vision and spoke amiss when he insulted David as to compare him to a runaway slave.

David was God’s anointed prophet. His chosen. “A man after God’s own heart.”

Abigail spoke words from the throne of heaven when she interceded for her life, her husband & household by releasing a prophetic blessing that came to pass over David & his warriors.

“And it shall come to pass, when the LORD shall have done to my lord according to all the good that he hath spoken concerning thee, and shall have appointed thee ruler over Israel” 1Sam25:30

In choosing to speak life, she was sowing into her future.

She humbled herself without hesitation and fell face down before the mighty warrior who slew Goliath.

And God elevated her in due time when He crowned her Queen of Israel 🇮🇱

For promotion in the kingdom of God does not come not from man but from Yahweh.

“He removeth kings, and setteth up kings” Daniel 2:21

Loyalty. She stood by her man. As his rib. She took care of him when he could not take care of himself. She didn’t expose him. She covered him.

David recognized this proverbs 31 Warrior & in Gods timing. He received her hand in marriage and she partook in a lasting dynasty.

A woman of wisdom, discernment, beauty and intelligence.

“Your discernment is blessed.” 1 Samuel 25:33 (King David to Abigail)

Godly discernment comes from the Holy Spirit.

I treasure how she left her comfort for her calling.

She was very wealthy but left it all to go to wilderness with David during a season where he was being hunted by King Saul.

And if she had tarried she would have missed it.

34 For in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall. 1Sam25. (David to Abigail)

Arise like Esther & walk like Abigail.

Abigail hasted off her ass to her King.

Just like King David hasted to kill Goliath. He ran to his destiny. No room for fear. No room for doubt. And in Christ he was VICTORIOUS! The giant hit the ground!

Like the prophet Daniel, Abigail had set in her heart what she wanted.

    She was prepared.

So when God came knocking, she didn’t slap His hand away. She received what Abba had for her.

She was a queen in character before she was crowned by the Lord.

Woman of God, Arise like Esther & walk like Abigail.

This look is inspired by Holy Spirit & called Abigail, Queen of Israel.

Arise Like Esther, Walk Like Abigail eyeshadow ❤️🙌🏼🎉

Stay close to Holy Spirit, don’t ever comprise.
