    Headaches From Hell

    Hi treasured Mama,

    Have you ever had a headache that felt worse than contractions at childbirth?

    Like if it came from the pit of hell & you just wanna send it back in the name of Jesus?

    After my 2nd childbirth I found myself dealing with something new.

    These “headaches from hell.”

    Now I’ve never been the type of woman to get headaches- but when they hit – it felt like death.

    So intense. So PAINFUL. It’s almost as though functioning was not possible.

    Like I literally had to ask my husband for help watching our family.

    So I come across this post saying catnip gets rid of headaches… our youngest just had started teething so, thank God I had some on hand!

    But it wasn’t what I thought, it took the pain from a level 8/10 to maybe a 7/10 or 6/10 and it still lasted hours throughout the night.

    Bummed out- kinda.

    Any how – God showed me something that worked!!!

    I rub this oil stuff like everywhere. I applied heavy where the most pain was on the head.

    Bam! Literally within three minutes the killer headache – 1/10

    I laid down for a brief minute and got up- that’s usually when the head feels like it’s gonna explode- and nothing!!!

    I am SO EXCITED to share this with you!

    I never thought I’d be writing about comic books in relation to spiritual growth.

    But isn’t it just like our creative God to show up in unexpected ways?

    Last week, as I watched my 4-year-old son completely absorbed in Scripture for the first like I’ve never seen him- just completely come alive & want us to read more & more, tears of gratitude streamed down my face after I put him to bed. God birthed a new excitement in our home!

    The Struggle Can Be Real

    Family Bible time can become a battle in many homes.

    But it doesn’t have to be and I am super grateful it’s treasured in our home.

    I really see this Bible changing this generation in a beautiful Holy Spirit inspired way.

    A sister in Christ share about this Bible I’d never seen, The Action Bible. My initial skepticism (comic book Bible?) quickly turned to awe as I searched the stunning illustrations created by a former Marvel & DC Comics artist.
