    2 Questions

    Hello sweet sister,

The 2 questions I endeavor to forever ask, inspired by brother Lawrence in his book: Practicing His Presence. “What, Father, do you desire said? What, Father, do you desire this minute?”

Every year I wholeheartedly recommend one book. This is the one 2026. If you read just one let it be Practicing His Presence.

I read this book about 8 years ago.

With the deepest of heartaches – experiencing miscarriage, the Lord has brought me back to this book to remind me of what matters most – Christ.

And how to carry on without hardening the heart, in to ALWAYS and CONSTANTLY be seeking HIM.

    That is when you wake.

    When you sleep.

    When you eat.

    When you shower.

When you care in any role, as a mother or wife. Wherever He has you.

    He is always the priority.

And it is the constant awareness and companionship that has helped me deeply and I am so sure that whatever season you are in, it is your only answer and one source of true comfort.

    Be blessed sister,

    Stay in His presence always.

    Love, JC

    Thirsty

    Hi sweet sister,

Todays one hour of praying in the Holy Spirit & dry fasting is this:

Lord make my family (name everyone), prayer partners and I THIRSTY for Your presence ABOVE any other desires. Let us ALWAYS put You 1st. Make us a people who willing pay the cost to carry & overflow the oil of Your presence.

    In Jesus name amen.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

    Matthew 5:6

  • COME TO ME EARLY

    COME TO ME EARLY

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

    Before your first meal…

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

Before you start to stare at your circumstances…

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

Before you feel the heartache start to take over…

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

Before the sorrows of sheol start to encircle your vision …

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

Before the quite despair begs for a place at your table

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

Before you hold ought in your heart towards your husband…

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

Before the unholy anger takes root…

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

Before the anxiety and torment invite illness…

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

“COME TO ME EARLY, COME TO ME OFTEN”

I think sometimes as mothers it can be easy to fix our gaze on many things that won’t grow our relationship with God.

Now it’s not just our hearts we tend and mend.

We have been entrusted to hold our husbands hearts and hearts of our young ones.

Let us go to Him early and go to Him often, because anything less of COMPLETE DEVOTION IS CERTAIN DEATH.

    With Love, JC

  • God By Faith & Pharaoh By Logic

God By Faith & Pharaoh By Logic

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6

Those that are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:8

I want to share a story of a lesson today.

My husband was taking our eldest outside and I was helping him get ready, when I felt the Lord want me to do something I’d never done.

It wasn’t a small still whisper like with the prophet Elijah, sometimes it’s an impression, or a download or it could be a millions ways- however He chooses to speak in that moment.

It was a knowing this time.

“Have your son scrape the new soap under his nails before he goes outside”

Then after there was a bombardment of all these “what will and what if” thoughts aka the warfare.

    “What will my husband say?”

    “Should I do it?”

I had just a moment to step into destiny or it would have been missed.

I call our son over and ask him to scratch the new soap that is high in anti-pathogenic properties under his nails & tell him it is going to help him.

He does one hand. He didn’t really like it. He didn’t want to do the other hand.

    I don’t force him.

He goes out and tells his dad how he had soap under his nails and felt weird.

My husband looks at me with this look like … “what are you up to now.” It wasn’t bad or anything.

And I responded by saying it will help protect him.

After they come back my husband tells me that our son found something in the ground, he wasn’t sure what it was but later saw that it was a piece of animal poop.

Me: (in silence thinking “that is so disgusting”) what hand was it?

    My husband: the left hand.

My son: no it was the right hand… this one…

It was the hand that the soap was placed under!!!!

This method is used to protect children and young ones against parasites.

I had no idea what would happen.

    But God knew!

    Random acts of obedience.

They don’t make sense. They RARELY do.

What tremendous pain would have been felt if I had chosen not to listen.

I praise God that He made me hear Him.

We won’t know or understand everything- we weren’t meant to.

    That’s God’s job.

It’s not His will for us to function like that in complete independence.

It is His will to share things when He wills it. That creates a deep dependence on Him. The constant pursuit of His heart- this must be our ALWAYS #1 priority in life. Him.

Anyhow I pray this blesses you.

Incase you want to know more, this is the incredible soap I used. (Savings code: faithrefinedbyfire)

God bless & stay close to God,

    JC

8 ¶ By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. Hebrews 11:8

  • The Hidden Reason You’re Tired All The Time (That Has Nothing To Do With Sleep)

The Hidden Reason You’re Tired All The Time (That Has Nothing To Do With Sleep)

    Hi beauty,

Let me guess – you’re doing “all the right things.” Getting decent sleep. Eating pretty well. Maybe even exercising when you can squeeze it in. Yet somehow, you still feel like you’re running on fumes by 2 PM every day.

I discovered something fascinating while researching modern fatigue patterns. It turns out the exhaustion most of us feel isn’t actually about lack of sleep or poor diet. It’s about something called “adaptive capacity” – and it explains why traditional energy solutions often fall flat.

Why Your Body’s “Stress Battery” Keeps Dying

Think of your body like a smartphone. Just like your phone has a battery that drains faster when multiple apps are running, your body has a finite capacity to handle stress. The catch? In 2024, we’re running about 47 background apps we don’t even realize are active.

Work deadlines. Family responsibilities. Environmental toxins. Social media. Political tension. That weird noise your car is making. Each one slowly drains your adaptive capacity – your body’s ability to bounce back from stress.

The Ancient Solution to Modern Exhaustion

Here’s where it gets interesting. Traditional cultures had a secret weapon against this kind of systemic fatigue: adaptogens. These are rare plants that actually help your body adapt to stress instead of just masking tiredness like caffeine does.

The science behind this is pretty mind-blowing. Adaptogens work at a cellular level to help your body maintain balance under pressure! Think of them as training wheels for your stress response system. They don’t just give you energy – they teach your body to use energy more efficiently.

The Cascading Effects Nobody Talks About

When your adaptive capacity improves, something fascinating happens. It’s not just about having more energy. People report better focus at work, more patience with their kids, a stronger bond with their spouse, and even improved digestion (fun fact: stress wreaks havoc on your gut).

One woman, a busy mom of three, started incorporating adaptogens into her routine and noticed she wasn’t stress-snacking in the afternoon anymore. Her sugar cravings disappeared because her body wasn’t desperately searching for quick energy fixes. Usually when the body signals that it’s hungry, it’s really saying- we are low on nutrients – feed us. So if you can respond to your body with giving it true nutrition instead of coffee or sugary drinks and snacks that are really a band aid and a very superficial approach, you will revolutionize your health.

The Simple Way to Test This For Yourself

Here’s the thing – everyone responds to adaptogens differently. That’s why I always suggest people start with a variety pack to find what works best for their unique system. It’s like dating – you need to meet a few before you find your perfect match.

If you’re curious about trying adaptogens but don’t want to commit to full-size products yet, I’ve found a pretty sweet deal. There’s a sample pack that lets you try 7 different adaptogenic drinks for $14.95 (with free shipping for first-timers). The best part? It comes with a $15 gift card for your next purchase – basically making it risk-free.

But whether you try that specific pack or not, start paying attention to your adaptive capacity. Notice when your “stress battery” feels low. Look for patterns. Understanding this one concept could completely change how you approach your energy management.

Remember: True energy isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about building your body’s resilience, one small step at a time.

And of course, make sure you are resting in God’s presence.
